Nobody reads my stuff. I go through the motions anyway, because it keeps me in shape and I come to conclusions:
Being mean is generally stupid and being nice is smarter.
Empathy protects a bit against personal depression.
If you don’t care about other people, you’ll never know fulfillment.
Human values are less than rewarded in Capitalism. The values of Capitalism are power and stuff. The successful capitalist is rewarded with more power and stuff. They don’t tend to be giddy and are strangers to fulfillment. But they have a bunch of stuff and don’t want to change the system, though it’s not really a system. It’s just reactionary jungle law. But government can transparently distribute talent and social services.
The silo hoards my conclusions, but they still add up.
You might be unhappy, but that just means you might still have your humanity.
You can’t buy that.
