Unified For Ukraine, Ignorant Of Every Other Damn Thing In This World
The United States has manipulated every South American country to advance what is in our (capitalist) best interest. We had Salvador Allende killed to keep Chile from becoming socialist. Ironically, Henry Kissinger, the guy who engineered it, thinks we’re making a mistake with NATO and Ukraine!
Our undue influence saw a Russian friendly Ukraine turn hostile in a 2014 coup. We’ve always been hostile to Russia. Why else would we preserve an illegitimate NATO? This isn’t rocket science. Just rockets.
We wouldn’t let Russia arm Mexico with Warsaw Pact weapons, would we?
How ignorant do you have to be to think that this has anything to do with democracy?
Our presidents ask for unholy amounts of money for the military at budget time, and congress routinely allows for more than was asked for. The military is not even audited.
Now we’ve started spending something like a trillion to make sure that there’s a shine on our nuclear arsenal.
Meanwhile, we don’t have universal health care or Medicare for all.
Then again, can health care treat stupidity?
When I was a kid, I noticed that the inside of a broken toy car showed a picture of a peach on a bright white background with Chinese lettering. At the time, Chinese stuff was considered poorly. Stamping toys out of tin cans was innovative though, and kind of neat.
I remember seeing pictures in the newspaper showing streets in China packed with bicycles. Too bad they didn’t stick with it. They made a mistake by emulating us. Now we’re all gassing the planet.
Since then, business here abandoned the workforce and started having our stuff made in Asia to save on labor for increased profits.
I have a pair of work boots that have really stood the test of time. I just saw the tag: Made in China.
Here’s the funny part: We have a security risk because China makes all our stuff.
There pretty good at making the stuff business requests (at the expense of our own work force), and that makes them a security risk.
I have an idea. Why don’t we not give them a hard time?
China has legitimate philosophical differences with Taiwan. It’s a sensitive issue they’ve been dealing with for quite a while, now where we’ve been shit disturbing.
China’s growing influence is considered a threat, probably mostly from those lobbied by the weapons industry, besides our old familiar American bigotry.
I’ll bet they’re not even thinking about being a threat to us.
And they have a right and responsibility … well, at least a right to want to do well.
The problem is that we’re projecting. We’re the threat. We have our navy over there. Their navy is not over here.
Who has military bases all over the world?
We’ve subjugated South America, and we victimize the refugees coming from those damaged countries.
And our leaders are fine with income inequality. They want us poor and divided and ignorant because they don’t want us to have the wherewithal to tax their shallow asses while they try to control the world.

The most egregiously behaving wealth hoarders should be put on trial, and the worst should be exiled. Maybe Elon could drive them to Mars.
