Too simplistic.

Greed exists. Capitalism must have rules. If it is not regulated, it is just jungle law that buys government and is obscenely unequal, as you noted. We suffer from a weak government and lack of regulation. This is not the time to promote the invisible hand of an unthinking market. Capitalism knows only material value. Money is the motivator in a meaningless world that eats itself. Regulation is a recognition of human values with greater motivations for many, if not most people.

Civilization is social. People were made to work together. We can do better than jungle law materialism.
