Retirement Vs Jungle Law

Social Security could be even more of a success than it is if it was funded progressively. Weirdly, upper levels of income are not contributing to its funding.

Social security stands as a reminder of the collaborative strength of humanity and how our values brought us out of the jungle law that the material hoards of Capitalism keep foisting on us in the name of “freedom.” Freedom is just another word for tax-free hoarding. Social Security is a beacon that reveals the efficiency of humanity, contradicting Libertarian philosophy of individualism as a rather slapstick relic of jungle law.

This bit of Socialism is a threat to materialists who are divorced from life and married to greed. So they promote lies about its future funding and exaggerate possible problems without mentioning easy solutions. Fools believe them.

Many countries realize that it’s more efficient to be taxed and get services publicly than to depend on businesses that are profit driven.

This is a mean country to its seniors. Of course, a lot of seniors bought into the “threat” of Socialism and are now enjoying the fruits of fear and ignorance. The lobbies of corporate greed have sliced and diced medicare into purposely confusing parts that are supposed to have some kind of advantage but are difficult to compare and even understand. And the label of “advantage” reveals our problem in the first place. We want to have more than someone else. We act like a bunch of animals, ruminants notwithstanding. The corporations promote themselves as benevolent while fighting for the Medicare deduction taken out of our social security.

All of that promotion and confusion are a total waste compared to universally distributed services. Being denied service should be expected in a profit driven culture where everyone seeks an advantage over everyone else.
