Democracy and Capitalism are not the same.

#14 reason is to promote cars and fossil fuel. All of these points benefit business and the wealthy. Capitalism is financial jungle law that is counter to the values that power humanity. It does not recognize values but for materialism, and if left unregulated, will devolve into a monopoly, fascism notwithstanding. Socialism can have democratically run co-op businesses and a fairly regulated market and be way more democratic than what we know. Everyone is part of the business.
